Arc Waves crosses sonic boundaries to create songs that blur the lines between indie, classical and electronic music. The result is an enveloping sound that is assertive, beautiful and mysterious. Arc Waves has played CMJ Festival, Northside Festival, LPR Presents, Rooftop Films, SoFar, PopGun Presents and WFMU’s 'Dark Night of the Soul'. Arc Waves founding members are Elaine Lachica (vocals, synths, guitar), Brandon Jaffe (lead guitar), Mike Hodges (drums) and William McCormack, (bass from 2013-2015). Their self-titled 2014 debut EP was recorded and co-produced by Chris Butler at Butler Recording and is available on Bandcamp on GSR Records. In 2015, multi-instrumentalist Joe Beach (bass, synths, guitar) became a member of Arc Waves. Their first full-length LP 'the sound the circle' was released on November 17, 2017 on Campers' Rule Records. It was recorded at Rare Book Room in Brooklyn (Deerhunter, Wye Oak,) with producer Gabe Wax (Beirut, Soccer Mommy) and mastered by Paul Gold at Salt Mastering. Cover Art by Aaron Williams.
